Mars Antenna is a project developed in partnership with D-Orbit. Scope of the project is to develop a communication system able to manage signals coming from Mars /Moon Caves and directed to Satellites in orbit.
A first prototype of the project has been assembled and tested by our analog astronauts Vittorio Netti, Paolo Guardabasso, Nadia Majouf, Benjamin Pothier, Luca Rossettini, Simone Paternostro during the SMOPS ( www.smops.space ) simulation mission in 2022.
An updated version of the Antenna is foreseen to be available for a further test in the first months of 2024.
