The master has been concluded with the participation at the summer school of the Community of Ariane Cities, in Hambourg. He participated to the rewarded study about adaptation of Ariane 5 to human space flights. He has been hired by CNES (French space agency) for a 3-years research grant to obtain his PhD. Hybrid space propulsion motors have been studied under both experimental and numerical approaches. During the last two years, he worked in a start-up to design the lightest aircraft economical seat of the market. He was mainly in charge of the design of the seat accessories. In November he will participate to the MDRS Crew 143 as a finalist for Ma365 mission. During free time, he enjoyed paragliding and travels[/su_column] [su_column size=”1/4″][/su_column][/su_row]

[su_row][su_column size=”3/4″]Mark Wylie background is in Mechanical Engineering with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (ultrasonic medical devices for soft tissue ablation). Mark attended the International Space University (ISU) in 2008 in Barcelona, taking electives in Life Science, Space Law, Spacecraft configuration and Physics. In 2010, Mark was Team Leader and Mechanical Lead for sounding rocket experiment onboard REXUS sounding rocket which tested the use of a novel telescopic carbon fibre boom deployment system for E-Field probes. Today, Mark works as a Mechanical Space Systems Engineer for Curtiss Wright. This role involves design, analysis/simulation and testing of rugged data acquisition systems used in space vehicles.[/su_column] [su_column size=”1/4″][/su_column][/su_row]

[su_row][su_column size=”3/4″]Vito Gentile is a PhD student of computer engineering, and a web writer at HTML.it. He received the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in July 2011 discussing a thesis regarding the implementation of a video surveillance system based on Android. He received the Master’s degree in Computer Engineering in July 2013 discussing a thesis regarding hand pose recognition system based on a neural network and Microsoft Kinect. Currently he is attending the first year PhD course in Technological Innovation Engineering at University of Palermo, and he is also a Visiting Research Student at Brunel University of London. His main research topic is Human-Computer Interaction, with a special focus on UX design and public displays. Vito has had professional and research collaborations with several companies in the area of mobile computing and web programming. He is also a web writer and an editor at HTML.it, a webzine focusing on all aspects of computer world and technologies.

[su_row][su_column size=”3/4″]Tanja Lehmann was born in Offenburg in the Kinzig valley and is currently living in Munich. After his Abitur (german high school graduation) she spent a year in the United States with a Navajo family. After that she became a doctor’s receptionist and worked in this profession for two years. Then she studied electrical engineering / communication technologies at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg. During her studies she also participated in the 5th Student Parabolic Flight Campaign run by ESA. She wrote her diploma thesis in cooperation with the Institute of Astronautics of the Technical University in Munich and the German Space Agency (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen on the project BayernSat. Currently she is working as a test engineer in an aerospace company located close to Munich. She is very much interested in space travel and microgravity science, has also done several parabolic flights as an instructor for Austrian Parabelteam and she is engaged in the Verein zur Förderung der Raumfahrt and the Mars Society Germany, actively participating in the Archimedes project
